The new spirituality says that sin does not exist. I say; If sin i.e. missing the mark does not exist then why has the whole human race missed the mark so badly? Why the pain? Why the turmoil? There is a state and condition of sin. There is a state of or condition of sin for no better term to describe it.

To deny this and say that [we] are the answer if we will but see ourselves as God or as Christ is simply ludicrous. A peaceful personal existence can be attained in this way for short periods of time. However there is nothing eternal about thinking or realizing that we are God or Christ!

A trace of the immortal one is in us from birth! consider John chapter one.

The light quality of the new spirituality is mighty dim. Its a seven watt bulb at best. Gods light shown upon Lucifer and it puffed him up in spiritual arrogance i.e. narcissism. The false-self was invented.

We must remember that our enemy can come as an angel of light, albeit a dim light. Dont settle for it! Our enemy mimics eternal God for this enemy hails from Gods domain. The focus of our enemy is upon the false-self rather than upon the Life-giving redemptive God who is working to destroy the false-self and reveal the true person that God created! If there were no inspired Bible the issues of human life could write one at many levels.

The new spirituality is the precise opposite of real and enduring Spirituality! The new spirituality says that we are God by extension, rather than Christ Jesus can be received by Faith and now He can live His life in and through the believer. The truth is; as we humbly and contritely turn from sin and unto him He stands up inside us and unfurls himself in us! Sure its all internal but the [point of what were responsible toward] is altogether different from what the new spirituality teaches and expounds.

The new spirituality says that we are not responsible to the Christ who has set Himself up in our hearts through faith in His name and repentance!

The new spirituality says that we are not responsible to anyone but to ourselves, since we are God! I've got to tell us that that is a mighty dim light to follow after! This undoubtedly reveals the highest form of narcissism there is! It was Lucifer who invented this thing. Narcissism is a mighty dim light to follow after. There's nothing eternal in that.

One can [experience] narcissism in such strength at heart level that this person may actually think of it as a spiritual experience with God!

If we attach ourselves to an organization who for all intents and purposes say that we and our doctrine is Christ, a group type of narcissism will certainly manifest through us. The arrogance of this may be called a holy thing.

There is nothing new about the prevailing new spirituality; it just manifests in different forms from time to time. The enemy of our soul and the days of his operations are shorter than we might think; the enemy of the soul is working overtime.

Yes I think there are many many people following this new Spirituality, However like in the times of the old prophet "what was his name" who thought he was alone there was still 4000 who had not bowed down to Baal.
