I've come under fire again for my position on shunning and expelling, so let me put it another way you xholdemans might be more receptive to. The reason governments, countries and churches have borders is that when bands of desperados want to make raids across a border or into a church, they have to face an united country or membership. Just imagine yourself as one of these united people. We all have ways of life or things we don't want outsiders trying to take away from us or change.

You guys better start believing in shunning, because I think most of you xholdemans would still be in the church if they hadn't expelled you!

Cobbled a conversion together in my youth to get the staff off my back. The church was never in my heart for my daydreaming ways. Was out a year or so later when the Panel showed up. They never done me no wrong and I was never offended. That's my history with the Holdeman church.

I went to "Cool Newell" Litwiller and told him I was not living according to their standards and that they should expell me. No hard feelings, no problems.

My problem with them is when they made my dad move away from south Florida where he was witnessing every day and he moved to the "salt mines" of Moundridge Kansas where there is a minister every mile and he just rusted out.(still rusting at the Manor) I guess they haven't read the "go ye" statement at the end of Matthew, basically the last thing Jesus said on this earth.
