There's an epicenter to every earthquake. From this point, energy flows out. There's a center in every person from which flows either negative energy or positive energy. In the Biblical sense this epicenter in all of us is reserved for the essence of God i.e. reserved for the Love of God to occupy!

Consider idolatry which is a thing of the hearts center. There's a reason that idolatry is against God whatever color it is. Idolatry is something in that exact place within us that is reserved for the essence of God. This part of us is our epicenter. The epicenter is the very center of our hearts. From here all things move out into our lives. The issues of a man's life i.e. [a person's life] proceed from the heart.

This center is the most vital part in us, it's the most sensitive part in us, it's the productive part of us.

This place in us can be filled with just about any old thing we want I am sure but I will address a certain thing.

When [what we consider our thing] has filled our epicenter, it dare not be challenged by anyone because that is where we actually live. This epicenter is where the Love of God desires to be invited into; this place within us is reserved for the unconditional Love of God! His love can now live where we heretofore have lived our thing.

Religious exclusiveness i.e. a specialness in our own eyes is simply another way of saying that we are very much involved with our own thing.

The house of Israel was deeply involved with their own thing when Jesus came on the scene. Radical Islam is presently very much involved in their own thing. Anything that does not flow with this is the infidel and the present enemy because something has been elevated in these minds to the status of deity.

This is the very worst type of idolatry because it has become the actual deity to these. Their love for this deity is unequivocal in many cases. These will fight a buz-saw with their bare hands while knowing they will be chewed up by it and then go about feeling good about it, because God-is-Grreat! Although they utterly lose, they say they win! That's the pattern of idolatry at it's worst.

Different sectarian Christian groups can get involved with [their own thing] and call it God's thing. At this point we have deified our thing. What does not agree is considered to be an infidel.

The epicenter of a person and of a group of persons can be filled with the essence of God i.e. the Love of God at which point no one is involved our thing or our way!

If we're wearing personas of love it will becomes obvious when our epicenter is challenged. Passive violence easily manifests in Christian type people when this epicenter and it's idolized ways and beliefs are challenged.

In radical Islam, love is not a central theme and because of this their violence without apology is most aggressive.

If real Love is challenged, Love only Loves in more strength. Father forgive them for they do not know what they do, said Love while hanging from a tree! In the place where the sensitive ego usually dwells, the Love of God can dwell! A religious epicenter void of the Love of God is of the worst sort.

If it's our thing that's in our epicenter, it will dig in at the expense of others. Our thing, our idolatry will shake the surface as it ripples outward, even though people are hurt in it's processes. None of us are exempt from this journey [unless we exempt ourselves] which takes us from the epicenter of our own thing to the Love of God unfurled in us!
