Is the swine flu shot the one they are giving to people right at the pharmacy?.
I don't get flu shots but I heard an advertisement for people to go right to the pharmacy and they can pay $25.00 and get a shot right there and then. That just sounds like its ripe for abuse.
First who the heck would be giving me the shot? I don't take shots from just anyone...and it screams of abuse in that every time someone discovers another flu the local pharmacy is going to start selling a shot for it.
I think they are going to have people who live out of fear of catching something going in for every shot they can get. It's just a matter of time before someone screws something up and you get the wrong shot. Or you get a used needle put in your arm.
I'm very uncomfortable with the whole thing. Did I just ruin the joke thread???
Oxy, I'm very proud of you for getting that picture posted onto the forum. Good job!!!
And thank you for the compliments to me in the Moon thread, that was nice of you to say that.
Do you have a camera that has a cord that goes into a port on your computer?
Well cowabunga Paris, there really is another with out a camera, Oxy! Dang, I thought I was probably
just about the only one on planet earth. (even most holdemans I know have one, their cell phone!!)
You should get a camera Nas and Oxy. You should be recording your life for the next generation. One thing I will say is that you should always put the pictures that you really like onto a disc so you can have it in case your computer has trouble. I lost some pictures but it was because I forgot to save them before I did a system restore on my computer. I was lucky though I had put a lot of them on Photobucket so I just saved them back to my computer from there. But they did save back smaller than the original.
I bought this portable photo printer in the Spring. It comes in real handy. The new thing that people are doing is when they go to a birthday part or Christmas or any get together the pictures that are taken at the party are printed right off and put into a photo album and then you can leave the photo album as a gift. The printer hooks right up to the camera or you can put the memory card/chip from the camera in the printer port and choose what pictures you want to print. Print it off and put it in the book. You can do that with anyone at the parties camera. It has both small and large memory card ports for various cameras
It also will print from your computer from a saved pictures file.
It's very portable. The paper and ink cartridges are 29.95 for 80 pictures and each box of paper comes with the ink cartridges for those 80 pictures. The printer itself was 99.00.
I wonder if you could have a CD made when you get your pictures developed and use the CD to download them to your computer then you could share them by e-mail and stuff to family and friends.
You could also scan your photos if you have a scanner printer and they will save to a file on your computer then you could share those.
Okay, Nas and Sirius, I am putting the picture back on for both of you and others who just may appreciate it, since the swine flu is still such a hot and controversial topic
