Years ago I purchased a pair of NS100M speakers from a shop I latter worked for. I wish I still had them, they were beautiful, unfortunatly I traded them for a pair of B&O RL60s. Not that there was anything wrong with the B&Os, they are very good speakers, but at the time my amp was a Yamaha with the typical Japanese sound (a little midrange glare and lean)hence the B&Os worked better with it. I later had the same problem when I upgraded to a pair of B&Ws (not B&Os) so this time the amp changed to a Hafler Trans Nova, wow what a differance. I have more than once wondered how the NS100s would have faired with the the Hafler, I believe they need and would do well with agood amp, they were also very well built, not like the crap Yamaha has been staining their name with for the last 15 Years. NS100s are rare, the pair I had are the only ones I've ever seen, same with NS500s. You may want to check out the legendary NS1000M also.
