Ok, you didn't like the movie. Fine. Doesn't mean it's a terrible movie. Movies and moviewatching is subjective. LOTS of people like this movie. Some didn't didn't. That's the beauty of moviewatching.
Besides, who's to say that Romero can't make the zombies do whatever he wants them to do. He's stretching the genre and expanding his thinking.
What about the zombies in 28 Days Later that moved at the speed of light? Did you think that was ridiculous too? Zombies aren't real, so we can make them do whatver we want them to do.
