Hi,
I bought your book a little while ago and think its great. The imu in particular really caught my attention!
My friends and I have done a couple of spitroasts with pigs gradually increasing in size. This year however, we are going all out and have named the event:
- PIGSTOCK 2007 -
Its gonna be more like a mini festival with tents for the graveyard crew and activities all day. It will be absolutely amazing of course.
This year (Saturday!) we have a 50 kg monster! Last years was 22kg but we ate it too quick so we're going bigger!!
I was tempted to try the imu first but decided it would be a bit of a risk for the piggy! We decided to do one with a couple of chickens and a joint and leg of lamb (hopefully this will pursuade everyone to cook the pig next year!!).
I'm planning to document the process with photos so i'll let you know how it goes! Do you have anywhere to post pics??
