What's Wal-Mart Doing with Your Money Now?

by Conservative

AFA ActionAlert

September 26, 2006

Please help us get this information into the hands of as many people
as possible by forwarding it to your entire email list of family and
friends.

Wal-Mart Sponsors Diversity Week, Includes How To Defeat A
Constitutional Ban On Homosexual Marriage

Wal-Mart has given its full endorsement to the homosexual agenda and
homosexual marriage. Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, will
observe LGBT Diversity Week October 9–13. One of the sponsors for the
Diversity Week is Wal-Mart.
See: http://www.afa.net/boisestateuniversity.htm

Wal-Mart is joining the Pleasure Boutique (an adult bookstore which
bills itself as "Idaho's largest selection of adult movies and DVDs
and largest adult toy selection in Idaho") and other groups in
sponsoring the week. Diversity Week is a week of celebrating
homosexuality and promoting the homosexual agenda and homosexual
marriage.

Among the events being sponsored by Wal-Mart is "Idaho Votes No
Campaign"= Update and Information Workshop." Voters in Idaho will be
voting on a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage in
November. This Wal-Mart sponsored event will inform voters how to
oppose the amendment and how to get others to do so. Wal-Mart is
putting their money behind the effort to legalize homosexual marriage.

Other events being sponsored by Wal-Mart: Gay History of Idaho,
Diversity in the Workplace, Women's/Lesbian Issues, Hate Based Crimes,
Heterosexism, Homosexuality and Disabilities, LGBT Youth in Trouble,
MCC-Faith and LGBT, and a youth dance for those age 24 and under.

We earlier reported on Wal-Mart throwing their clout and cash behind
the homosexual marriage effort.
See: http://www.afa.net/Petitions/IssueDetail.asp?id=210

Take Action

1. Send your email to Wal-Mart now! Wal-Mart often blocks our
emails. To make sure your voice is heard, please call Wal-Mart's
headquaters and ask to speak with President Lee Scott at 479-273-4000.
To send email: https://secure.afa.net/afa/activism/takeaction.asp?id=217

2. Call your local Wal-Mart manager and express your concerns. Please be
polite when you call.

3. Print out and distribute our Pass Along Sheet.
See: http://www.afa.net/wmpassalong2.asp

4. Be sure to forward this to your entire email list to alert them of
the strong stand by Wal-Mart in promoting the homosexual agenda and
homosexual marriage.

Sincerely,

Donald E. Wildmon, Founder and Chairman
American Family Association

P.S. Please forward this e-mail message to your family and friends!

MOST IMPORTANTLY, TO ALL OF YOU WHO CARRY THE CHRISTIAN NAME AND SERVE THE ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD. PROVE TO THIS COUNTRY THAT YOU VALUE YOUR FAITH IN GOD AND PLACE IN HEAVEN MORE THAN YOU DO "STUFF." WAL-MART IS COUNTING ON AMERICANS TO CARE MORE ABOUT WHAT THEY OWN ON EARTH, THAN THEIR TREASURES IN HEAVEN. THEY HOPE THAT WE WILL CARE MORE ABOUT CHEAP GOODS AND WON'T STOP SHOPPING THERE. STAND UP, FIGHT FOR THE FAMILY,
ONE MAN + ONE WOMAN=MARRIAGE!

concerned

by

I was trying to find someone that I could place a concern to that wouldnt just throw this aside I was requesting that the magazines that are in the front check out lanes could have covers over them this would not bring sales down they could still read the name of the magizine but it would help the families and in my case a mothe rof a very curious young child I had to start shopping some where that does do this and I have to admit I miss my Wal-mart but I know I am standing for something that is important to my family and many others I have spoken with. I know this could not be that costly and yet be so helpful. Some of these magazines such as Cosmo , Glamour Vogue just to name a few are just too explict.
Hope to hear from you
Thank you

My wife and I are looking for a nice 2 or 3 bedroom home that we could buy on land contract, we dont have alot of money but, we really like Virginia, especially around the Big Stone Gap, Pound, Clintwood, Weber City, Gate City, etc area's. We like that it still has got a country atmosphere! Being an Evangelist we coould not pay a down payment or over $200.00 a month but, we have always desired to own a home of our own, it does not have to be fancy, just descent and cozy. If anyone has a home they would consider selling on land contract with cheap monthly payments please e mail me and let me know! I believe God will bless us with a home of our own where we can live out our older days on this earth in a nice quite place of our own. Evangelist Jackie Lester & wife

THE NITE THEY DROVE OLE AMERICA DOWN

by tobra

and a few of the people were singing. it was september of owe three and we were rich and quite well fed. it was six in the evening, the wind was blowing, paul jennings hill lay strapped to the guerney, the sterilized needle in his vein, george's brother jeb had said "don't bully me, hill should fry" the nite they drove ole america down. and marjorie was crying as i held her by my side. america was rich and quite well fed and most of the Christians smiled, looked at each other, and said "that nut that killed them folks is dead" the nite they drove ole america down. hill's soul and the balloons were heavan bound and america's chance to end abortion died with the man. the churches took no more notice of paul jennings hill, nor the aborionist he did kill. and america was rich and quite well fed, the nite they drove ole america down. rev. phillip (flip) benham was wanting to kill hill, but stayed far from the killing zone as cowards will. hill had offered the fallen reverend hope to end abortion, but he and his family and followers chose death instead. now, rusty's wife is dead and benham's own wife shall not die elderly nor in bed. america was rich and quite well fed. the nite they drove ole america down and a few of the sinners and the saints bowed their heads and prayed. oh Lord, i say, remember those that helped hill, reward and do not kill. and for those that mocked the friends of the condemned, oh Lord, your will, not mine, today. and america was rich and quite well fed. it was septmeber of owe three.

taxes

by john

ok..i just learned that dickenson country is starting a county sticker...when/how were we supposed to find out about it?!?!?!?!?!?!

I saw no mail sent to my address...I don't listen to broadcast radio...it's awful...it hasn't been in the Coalfield Progess...

Why should we pay property taxes???!??! I paid tax when I bought it. Why should we pay tax to own it??!?! Why not come into my home and find out how much food I have and force me to pay a tax for having food in my house??!

This is rediculous!!

Oh yeah, I also heard that the county is going to start charging a fee for garbage collection. Shouldn't all these pathetic taxes already pay for that??

When is 911 going to actually work?? Why is the county leaving VCEDA??!?!

anyone want to bother to explain??

Cemeteries near Clintwood, VA courthouse...

by

I`m looking for the names of cemeteries near the Clintwood, VA courthouse. I`m particularly looking for the graves of "Holly Creek" John MULLINS and "Revolutionary" John MULLINS Sr. He is the only Revolutionary soldier to be buried in Virginia. The graves are suppose to be on a slope about 300 feet from the courthouse. There is tall flag pole near the grave. If anyone could tell me how to obatin driving directions to this cemetery or even so much as the name of the cemetery, it would be of great help.

Thank you in advance, Shelli

A mustang is a early grave!

by

No offence to you but my brother-in-law got killed in a 2004 GT Mustang. I have never liked them things since. Yes they are beautiful cars but i will never own one myself...They have only brought a lot of hurt to my family.
My advice to people is speed is not everything....YOUR LOVES ARE!
