The Butter Ghost

by Trey

This happened when we were living in Boston. My grandparents lived in this old colonial house that they inherited a long time ago. It was abig house and I really liked it. I slept over there for a week and the room I was sleeping was really cold. The only thing was that there was no air conditionner and the heater was on. AT about 2:00 in the morning, I woke up to get a drink of water. I walked down the stairs all the way to the front door of the ktchen and stopped. I heard some kind of stomping noise. I pushed the door open a little and i saw the figure of a woman churning butter. I was so freaked out. Her eyes were really beady looking. As i was looking at her churn, she looked up at me and smiled. I ran all the way upstairs to my grandparents room and I told them everything. They said before they moved in here, an old woman that lived across the street told them about a woman who died in our house because she was poisened by her husband. They say that sometimes when you enter the kitchen, you can hear her coughing and gagging on something.
