I got a phone call askin me to go out with Mark, Sean and staffy, so I got ready and ran down the drive. They were already outside in Mark's car. I went over to ask who was in with me, it was sean so we got in my car and followed the other two down the road. We were starting off through the lanes.
We'd both not long passed our driving tests and got our own cars, so we were goin out in them all the time 2getha.. Mark's a joy boy, i'm a joy b!tch!!
Anyway, there's a sharp bend through the lanes. it'd be complete suicide to walk down there at night.
We'd already swopped in the car park, so I was at the front and mark and staffy were following behind. As we hit the sharp corner, I realised there was a boy stood there. He must have been about 18, dressed in a white t-shirt despite the fact it was freezing cold outside. He was smoking.
I swerved to avoid him, thoroughly annoyed at his stupidity! I could have hit him! It had been a close call. I glanced in my mirror in hope that Mark had managed to swerve too. He hadn't.
But as the car hit the boy, he disapeared.
Mark had slammed on his breaks and we all jumped out. Mark n Staffy were visably shaken. They said they had literally gone though the boy, he had gone into the car as they hit him and straight out the other side. They'd hit a ghost.
We searched around to see if he was still there anywhere, but he wasn't.
It has happened to other people. Usually young people out at night. It is said that it is a boy who was killed there a couple of years ago. He only appears when the person is over the speed limit. As a warning?
