In a previous story I wrote about Snake Hill Road on Route 666. In that story I mentioned the boarded up church. Well this past weekend me and two of my friends decided to go there and check it out. Well we got there about 11:30 p.m. Now this place is so creepy to look at. We decided to go there during the day just to walk around and see what it was like first. It’s even scary in the daytime! We saw that the steps to go to the front door are very old and some were missing so one wrong step and you are gone right through. And lastly what I heard my friend went up there to check it out alone and said that there is a security alarm on the door (he said you can hear it beep).
We figured that we couldn’t go through the front door because we didn’t want to set off the alarm. So we tried to find another way in. All the windows are boarded up. We all had flashlights and decided to try and take a board off. Well we pried a window open and heard noises inside. Now what happened next is too creepy. When we got the window off we could see light coming from inside. But it wasn’t bright enough to be lamps it was more like candlelight. We then heard something scurrying around towards the back of the church and figured it was an animal of some sort. Anyway, my friend dared me to go in and I told her I wasn’t going in alone so I made her come with me. She accepted and were about to climb in when our flashlights caught something inside. It was a shadow of something on the ground I told her to wait and shined the light down and we saw a deer lying there on the ground. Dead. Then we moved the light around more and saw that on the back wall was a pentagram in a red liquid.
Now I know some people aren’t going to believe what happened next but I swear it did. We hear this loud beeping coming from the front of the church and ran to the front door figuring we set it off, but we saw the door being pushed open. My eyes widened I asked myself at that moment. “If there’s an alarm on the door how did anyone get in. I looked at my friends and we heard this chanting coming from inside of the church. My friend then ran up to the front door and ripped the door open setting off this alarm that was very loud. She shined her light inside and saw five shadows on the wall that looked like people standing there looking directly at all of us. Since my friend only lived right down the street we walked there. But in this instance we wish we drove so we could hop in the car and speed away. Then all at once they ran to get out of the light. We ran to get out of there and turned back and saw these figures running out of the church after us. When we got past the church driveway we saw that we weren’t being followed. We don’t know who they were but we will never go back there again.
