In the 1970's, Stories spread like wildfire through Texas.
These stories generated from Brownsville, deep on the Texas, mexican border. The stories were of sightings of a large bird, with human-like features, and an incredible wingspan. It was often reported that this birdman had attaked, and carried-off unsuspecting humans. These stories were quite numerous at first, but they rappidly grew into the hunderds, if not thousands.
I don't know, but maybe these stories were the insperation of Hollywood screen writers who produced such films like "THE MOTHMAN PROFECIES", and "JEEPERS CREEPERS".
These stories have recently been reported in other parts of the world as well. And have been topics of radio talk shows such as "COAST TO COAST AM". Has anyone else heard of any of these stories? If so, please respond....
