This story was told to me by my dad. He told me a story about two twin sisters who were killed at a railroad crossing near a grocery store a longtime ago. This story goes back to about the 1940's. He said the girls were in a car, and were on their way home from an evening out on the town with a few of their girlfriends. When they got to the point of the crossing, unknown if they tried to beat the train, or were distracted from their driving. They were struck, and killed instantly.
Several years later, people who worked at the nearby grocery store would tell stories of how they would hear laughter, and the voices of girls talking comming from somewhere at the back end of the store, the side that faces the railroad tracks where the girls were killed. My dad went on to say, that he too once worked at that grocery store when he was much younger, and often late at night, when he worked alone stocking the shelves, etc., he too would often hear the laughter, and voices of young ladies engaging in happy conversation. although he couldn't understand exactly what was being said, he could hear the voices, and laughter of the sisiters who died together that nite long ago on those tracks near that grocery store...
