I live in England and this is a huge thing thats hit the media, I'm not sure if u guys will have heard it over in America yet but it's pretty spooky.
Between 11pm and 1am on New Years Eve so many people send Happy New year text messages that the networks jam. A girl called Sally was out with her friends celebrating when she lost them and ended up on her own. Late that night they received a message from her saying 'I've got into a car with a man I don't know and I'm scared. U left me.' Then came the next 'Please Help me. x' They looked at the time and she had sent them around midnight. No one heard from her and her family, including her twin sister, were terrified for her safety. Two days later she was found dead in a forrest. She had been sexually assaulted and murdered. The main suspect then left a note admitting his crime, set fire to himself and threw himself from a window of a hotel.. he died. If this had happened any other night maybe her friends would have got the messages and been able to save Sally.
