Bloodstained Floor

I once had a friend a couple of years ago who had bought a new house out in the country. The house was near a graveyard, and so at the time my friend didn't think much of it, that is until he began to notice a dark stain appearing on the new carpet under his bed. He didn't know what to make of it,
in time, the stain grew larger, and darker, it began to change color as well.
Soon it was blood red, and very large in diamiter. The house was fairly new, Only a few months old, and to his knowledge he found nothing wrong with the houses inner structure, piping, or electrical. He tried over, and over to remove the stain, cleaning, and scrubbing it with the best of his ability.
He even went out, and bought new carpet for his bedroom. But still, the bloodstain returned days later.
He decided to do some background checking on the previous owners of the house. After long hours, and making contacts at the town hall records office,
He became aware as to the history of his house. It seemed that the previous owner, murdered his wife in that bedroom of the home. He shot her to death, then shot himself. It took sometime for my friend to ease his nerves, and go back to living in that house. But he then sold it some years later. As far as I know, The house still stands, and the current owners are themselves batteling the bloodred stain on the bedroom floor...
