I bought a car recently it’s a 2005 Nissan Altima. Great car, good price, used, the previous owner turned it in from a lease early. But what I didn’t know is why, until the other day.
When I drove it off the lot I was in heaven it rode beautifully, and didn’t give me any problems until two months ago.
I walked out of my house and hit the unlock button, the doors unlocked but when I put my hand on the door handle they locked. I shrugged and put the key in and opened the door. I got in and started it, I noticed that the heat was on full blast and I know I didn’t do that. So I turned it off. I started on my commute to work. I was driving listening to my music when all of sudden without warning the music went to full blast and startled me half to death. I turned it down and said to myself, “That’s three things that freaked me out with this car.!” So I got to work and put in my 8 hours. I went back out to the car and the same thing happened with the unlocking situation. But I noticed it wouldn’t lock until I put my hand on the door handle and they aren’t automatic like that. I’d wait 30 seconds and go for it then I’d wait 45 seconds it was too weird for words. When I got in and started it I noticed that the emergency brake was on. Now I NEVER put that on. Things were starting to get creepier by the minute! I was then driving with the radio off and low and behold it turned on by itself and started blaring!
I said to myself that’s enough, I made an appointment at Nissan to get a checkup. I brought it in and told them every problem I’ve been having. They checked it out and said there are absolutely no electrical problems or fuse problems either they said the car was 100%. But they said they remember the same thing happening to another customer who happens to be a friend of his. And they said this might actually be his car they knew he just traded in his lease. They called him and put me on the phone with him. The conversation went as follows:
Me: Hi I think I bought your old car.
Him: Let me guess doors lock automatically, the radio turns itself on, and other things.
Me: Yeah how did you know?
Him: I’m not a believer in the paranormal but that car is possessed!
Me: Really
Him: Yeah, one night I had to drive my father to hospital and he died on the way. Ever since then things like that happened.
Me: What was your father’s name?
Him: Anthony, why?
Me: Well I love the car and don’t want to give it in so I’m gonna try to reason with him!
Him: Ok.
On the way home I had a weird feeling that I was bein watched so I glanced into the rear view mirror and saw a shadow sitting in the back seat it was only for a plit second but I know I saw it. I got scared at that point so I pulled over and turned to the back seat I then told him my name and told him I’m sorry that he died, and I hope we can be friends (I don't even try to help ghosts pass into the light, if you're not experienced enough it can backfire and the problems can get far worse!). Ever since then nothing really happened. But that’s the story of Anthony and the tricks he played on me! He still plays tricks every once in a while but it's mainly to my friends. And I tell them not to worry it's just a friendly ghost.
