Dave, there is a lot of intrigue and mystery in the universe. Something happened to me, maybe you can explain. O.k. I live alone, I'm 60. I've been in this apartment 11 years. Anyhow to cut the story way short, I am having things missing. Personal items to be sure I missed them I guess.
Most recently, (last night) I picked up a pair of my dirty socks off the floor and threw them in the washer with a few other items to wash. Well, only 1 of the socks emerged from the wash. I looked absolutely everywhere for it the next morning. Never found it.
A few months ago, my favorite pair of black slacks came up missing. I figured someone came in while I was out and took them. But the people here are pretty honest in the office. I looked everywhere and never saw them again. But, as for the socks, one came up missing while I was home and had not yet left the place. Strange, isn't it. What do you think?
