One late evening, I was wide awake, not being able to sleep at all. I had my bedroom door open, and across the hall was the bathroom where my new pet kitten was sleeping on the rug by the shower. An hour or so passed, still I could not sleep. I then heard a wierd noise through the still darkness of the hallway. I quickly sat up, and tried to adjust my eyes vision into the dark hallway.
I thought maybe the cat had awoken, and was clawing at the floor mat, or a towel. becuase something had made an awful tearing, ripping sound.
I got out of bed to investigate, and went across the hall to the bathroom. I turned the light on, and stuck my head in to have a look. I noticed the cat, fast asleep on the rug. So if the noise didn't come from the bathroom? then from where? and if not the cat, then who made that eerie sound?
I left the light on in the bathroom, and closed the door just enough to allow a small ray of light to come through. I walked around checking the house for any intruder. I found nothing out of the ordinary.
When I went back to my room, I noticed the light from the bathroom placed a narrow path along my bedroom wall. I got back into bed, after the recent incident, I found myself even more restless, and unable to sleep. I had turned over, on my side to face the wall, just as I was looking at the light's path along the wall, I noticed a shadow, in the form of a small woman. It looked like a little old lady, but I noticed it appeared to float instead of bob up and down as when someone is actualy walking with their feet on the ground. I jumped out of bed, and went looking for the intruder...I turned on every light in the house, and went through every closet, pantry, and cubbard. Nothing! nobody! I stayed awake the rest of the night, and the next morning I had a shocking surprise. One of the spare bedroom closets were ransacked. and every piece of clothing that was on the hangers were piled up on the closet floor. and every item on the shelf was thrown onto the floor as well. I couldn't understand it, I checked the entire house, all doors and windows were locked. and any place that someone could possibly hide, was hiding no one.
To this day, I know what I had seen on that bedroom wall of mine, and unto this day, I still ask myself..."What the hell was it?"...
