I would like to share some of my own experiences. I moved into a home near the Skeetrock section of Clintwood, call Ghostrock, how convenient. Anyways, No one had ever lived on this piece of land before us, so there goes that theory. I was about five or so and I can remember lying in bed and hearing footsteps through the hallway at night, and seeing a dim light get brighter as the footsteps got closer. Mom and dad would say I had an over active imagination.
Then one night me, my brother and my mom were watching TV waiting on my dad to get home from work. We all heard a car door in the driveway and heard the basement door shut then heard someone walking up the steps. My brother and I ran to the door and opened it to find absolutely nothing there. After that my mom was a little more open to something being there.
On another occassion my brother had a bunch of friends over spending the night. Two of them were getting ready to come upstairs when they saw a white figure come through the door and run up the stairs. One of the boys have never stepped foot back in the house after that.
Another time, my mom had over slept one morning. She was supposed to get my brother and me up for school. Something tapped her on the arm and woke her. She came into my room and I was still asleep and so was my brother. Later that evening, my brother walked into the bathroom and my mom saw a shadow follow him in, it wasn't his.
My dad thought we were all crazy by this time, then one day he was in the basement and came up and asked me what I wanted. I said, "What are you talking about?" He said, "I saw you come downstairs a few minutes ago." Truth is I had been in my room all day. That's when I tried to convience him he had seen the ghost, but he still wouldn't believe it.
So whenever you get those goosebumps and think you see something out of the corner of your eye, don't overlook the fact it may actually be something.
