I posted this occurrence not too long ago on a different forum. It happened in Oct of 1999. I had fallen asleep earlier on in the day and woke up at about 3am. My parents were asleep as was my brother. I was showering when all of a sudden, the washroom lights went out. They came back on about 5 seconds later. I was assuming that it was a temporary power-cut. We usually had many power cuts so I didn't think much of it. I was still applying shampoo to my hair when I thought I heard a thump on the door. I turned the shower unit off and listened again. There was another thump. I called out, thinking it was my stupid mischievious brother. The thumping continued so I dried myself off with my towel, put my clothes on, and opened the door. I clenched my fist while opening because I knew that it was my brother and I was bound to strike him for bothering me. What's funny is that nobody was there. I was looking at a dark, hallway. The front room light wasn't even on for some reason. It was always on during the night. I went into my brother's room but he was fast asleep. I was a little shaken because I knew that there was somebody thumping that washroom door. Nobody was awake except me.
I went downstairs and put the front room light on. I then noticed somebody at the front door. I opened it but saw nobody. I walked out into the driveway but there was nobody around. It was dead silent and the sky was clear with many stars visible. I went back inside.
I then saw a kid. He was about 10-12 and pale like a dead person. He stared at me and then walked towards me. I backed off, trying to get away from him. He just kept walking towards me. I brushed up against the wall but he stopped and then walked out the front door. He walked into the night, fading away. I was scared to death and stood there frozen on that spot for at least a half hour. I did not dare to move. I knew this was real. I wrote about this the next day and this post that I'm writing is from my diary. The sight of that kid will be stuck in my mind till the day I die. Perhaps the most chilling image I've ever seen.
