  • Visitation

When I was stationed in Australia back in 1967 the following happened.

My Dad came to my wife in her sleep across a foggy field, he came up to her and said, "Mary, I have come to tell you goodby". At approximately the same time and night back here in the states, but a different day (due to International Date Line), he came to my uncle, my dad's brother, also across a foggy field and told him the same thing. (we found this out later from my uncle). My dad died within hours of the visitation in Australia. We had been to the beach and when we got home the base chaplain was waiting at our driveway to tell me about my dad dying, my wife had the visitation the previous night. My dad was here in KY and my uncle that was visited lived up near FT. Knox.
