Hey Bob, my brother Charles and I met you surfing on Georgian Bay - Collingwood back about a month ago. You mentioned that you found an EPS supplier in the Toronto area, I was wonder if you could hook me up with info on where you got it from, I want to do an EPS Carbon Epoxy short board.

B.T.W were getting ready to Bag the fish this week, we found a supplier with pre-formed vacuum bag sleeves rather than making the bag out of 2 halves

Thanks

Hey, whats up James. Good to hear from you - that was a fun session that day. Funny, I was actually going to get in touch with you too because I have some questions about vacuum bagging. I just finished hotwiring my next board and am pondering laminate options.

If you give me your email I'll send you the info on the company that I've been getting the EPS from. (They're not an ESA sponsor.) Blocks of it are pretty cheap; it's the CAD/CAM cutting that is expensive. If you want, I can help you with a custom rocker, since I use cad all the time. Also, I have a 24" hot wire bow cutter you can borrow.

A black carbon fish would be SICK...

Talk to you soon

Bob

Hey Bob yea that was an awesome day, one of the more fun days ive had on the lakes. My email is J116143@hotmail.com or my cell is 647-895-0036. That would be wicked if you could help me cut the rocker out, we just got back from Lawrencetown Beach Nova Scotia and picked up a 6'4 Kym Thomson Short Board. Basically i want to copy it's rocker and then make the whole board 1" wider (and carbon fiber of course

As far as bagging goes Id be happy to answer any questions you have, or get any supplies you need, we actually just bought a second pump just in case one burns up that you could borrow if you want to, or i can help you do it. Gimme a shout and well figure something out.

If all goes well i should have some carbon fish pics up soon
