My new computer is a Dell Inspiron 530 Celeron 420, 1.60Ghz, 800mhz, FSB, 512KB cach with English Windows Vista Home Premium. It is a desk top with 19" flat screen monitor. I already had a Cannon printer and speakers from my old computer which was a Pentium 2 with an upgrade to a Pentium 3. So I am very pleased with it. (TREV, TIM AND ANT)
Family Tree continued:
The Clarke family tree is 12 pages long so not worth scanning on Trev but I can show you at Xmas if your home or Richard could show you his copy. Coming from Rochdale alot of the Clarkes worked in the textile industry and some moved to Liverpool for work:
Henry Archibald Clarke Flannel Manufacturer
Athur Clarke Mechanic
Mary Clarke Cotton Weaver
Harriet Clarke Clothes Dealer
Margaret Clarke Dressmakers's Apprentice
Andrew Clarke Master Mariner (lost at sea)
John Clarke Seaman/Deckhand
Sam Silverwood Cotten Mill Clerk
Some other female Clarkes did Household duties and some became Scholars. Our late Grandma, Alice Clarke was one and became an English Teacher in Rochdale like Peggy.
PS Typo: The late Leonard Clarke and his wife Margaret did this family tree not Sydney Clarke!
