      Interesting that you mention Jack's Rake.
      Here is the explanation I prepared some weeks ago:
      There are pedestrian routes up all these mountains, except that scrambling is necessary to climb the last few metres of Dow Crag, Harter Fell and Helm Crag. Jack’s Rake is an impressive scramble coming out virtually at the summit of Pavey Ark – but all other routes to its summit are just a stroll.
