a random selection from my shelf, scanned and uploaded for your perusal. Still warm from being read to my daughter. Original price 2/6. Just love the liberal equality of it all.

Was at day 1 & day 4 at the WACA. It was good cricket all 'round & I think the Aussies are a bit upset that people think they're not 'gentlemen'. Mind you, the Curry Munchers haven't been perfect themselves. Apealing for everything and spitting the dumy when Harbarjan got suspended! All a bit precious!
Anyway, the next Cricket is Aus v Sri Lanka (one Day) on Feb 15th at the WACA.
Saw The Police on Friday night. They were great. Put on a good show too. Last big event was Steely Dan at the Sandalford Winery (Swan Valley). Absolutely marvellous!! World Party were the suport & did a bloody good job too (especially as most Aussies only know 'Ship of fools').
Super 14 rugby starts soon. Our team, The Western Force, have a practice match this week, so will go along, but the first 3 games of the season are away in Jaapie-land.
I'm expecting it to be more satisfying than watching England!! How bad was the game on Saturday, especially after I's forked out the dosh for Setanta so I could watch it live & stayed up until the early hours! Hopeless!!
Anyway, just so you know, we had a few visitors for New Year. Here's one of them!!
I'll load some more when I get time. (More visitors, The Matthews's, arrive tomorrow. My liver is not happy!!
Cheers!

Very sad to record that John Stewart passed away this weekend.
His music has been a constant in my life for 35 years and nobody has been a greater musical influence for me. I only ever wanted to play one song and it was one of his...

In a pathetic effort to encourage some old bro input.. who will be brave enough to nominate their favourite album? Radiohead Portishead stones the cure the clash? I'm listening to Joni Mitchell... Blue. A good place to start for old gits.

This years expedition will, of course, be to Nether Wasdale. Its worth reminding you all that you will need to book in advance as the campsite is pretty strict on numbers and these have been reduced over the years.
I'm curently planning to come with Hils, Sall Tess and Heidi. They are looking around for a better offer.
I believe CJ, Matt and Janet have already booked.
If you are coming post a message on the forum - your presence may be the catalyst that inspires other to come (or stay away - as the case may be).

Just booked my pitch and looking forward to returning to Wasdale. I seemed to have missed the even years for a while for one reason or another. Since '98, I've definitely missed the 2000, 2002 and 2006 expedishes and I can't remember if I was there in 2004. Can anyone help? Tim perhaps you can check the archive!
