I was born in Hackensack, NJ. I grew up in New Milford, NJ. Shortly after our wedding, my Wife and I bought our first house in Fair Lawn, NJ.

I don't miss NJ but, I don't mind reminiscing or talking about NJ !

It's right there across from Paterson and the Passaic River. I betcha house values have gone through the roof there. Am I right?

I bought the house in Fairlawn in 1995. We lived there for about 18 months. I made a $14,000 profit when we sold it in 1997. Not bad for a year and a half !

Although, I'm sure it's a buyers market now, just like the rest of the country.
