Your first memory of a fireworks display? WHEN I WAS A KID IN ENGLAND WE USED TO CELEBRATE 'GUY FAULKS' (sp?)NIGHT... I THINK I WAS AROUND 5-6 YEARS OLD.
Is there any certain person or persons that come to mind in regard to this holiday? Maybe a nice memory from a while back? YES... MY DAD (now passed) WE HAD AN AMERICAN THEMED DINNER AT HIS HOME ONE YEAR AND AND WE DRANK LOTS OF AMERICAN CHAMPAYNE TOO !!
Does your family put on their own "extravaganza" on the 4th? Whose yard gets blown up? WE DON'T CELEBRATE 4TH JULY DOWN HERE ... WE CELEBRATE THE QUEENS BIRTHDAY IN EARLY JUNE (don't ask me why it's in June as her birthday is in April!!) WITH LOTS OF FIREWORK DISPLAYS

What is the best item for lighting them off? Matches? A candle? A bar-b-que click lighter? A cigarette? NOT SURE... I WATCH FROM A SAFE DISTANCE

Did you know, if you empty a rum bottle (except for the dregs in the bottom) and seal the top and then run hot water on the closed bottle for a minute, it will build up pressure and you can remove the cap and ignite the opening of the bottle neck? (But you gotta move quick to do it right.)Yeah, I done it many times. Always a blue flame. NO I DIDN'T ... DOES IT WORK WITH EMPTY WINE BOTTLES ??? LOL
