The 4 things in life I simply cannot tolerate from another human being! (and I really have zero tolerance. It happens once and I don't forgive)
I was a wild child. A D was a reason to celebrate for me!
I'm completely tolerant of piercings (ears, belly button, nose and eyebrow only). they don't leave scars that can be seen as the kids age. (I've done my share of each of these)
I can completely deal with hair color changes as well! It can always be dyed back.... DD may be a problem since she's blonde but the salon is looking for a temp dye that WILL BE OUT before school starts (she will be suspended if we can't get it out. A risk we're all willing to take- we will do our best to get it out but if it can't, we'll have documentation that we did everything we can. They can't expect us to cut it out!)
Both my kids I'm proud to say give us their all! They work their hardest for school, have nothing but rave reviews from their teachers and are always willing and respectful for us as parents.
We don't ask allot as parents. Respect us and give us 110% at all times. Both kids have gone this far and above this year. They've had their low points but nothing worse then a bit of minor back talking (my kids can't lie to save their lives! Bless their poor heats)
They're good kids. As long as they continue to give me 100% then who am I to not give them the right of personalization? (after all- there are pics to prove my piercings and hair colors! None that I still have but I did when I was their ages).
My only no go is tattoos. Those don't go away with time.
