He had one a few years ago and he passed it. I had one 2 years ago. It was too big to pass, so I had to have lithotripsy (more about that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESWL ) It was very painful, but I wouldn't compare it to childbirth. But then I was one of the stupids in the late 70's who had natural childbirth. Think about it-- little rock vs watermelon.
