Question for any BUDDY BELT users out there.

by

We recently got Roxy a buddy belt, and we love it. It is so much more comfortable for her than any other harness we've tried, and so easy to put on.

But the main reason we switched is that Roxy was able to get out of the previous harnesses we tried. Never actually saw her do it. Sometimes I will go out to work in the shop, so I will put Roxy in her harness and attach her to a 60' long lead that's pegged to the ground outside the door. It never fails when I peek out to check on her that the harness is lying empty on the ground and Roxy is standing there wagging her butt at me. "I is a GOOD girl PA, look at what i can be doin!"

So we switched to a buddy belt thinking that would eliminate the problem. We properly sized her for the belt, and when I am planning to put her on the ground lead I put the belt on one extra hole tighter than I do when we are just walking her.

She STILL slips out of it in under a minute. And I STILL have never seen her do it. Aaaaarrrgh!

We're seriously thinking of changing her name to "HOUDINI". LOL

Anyone else have a similar problem with the Buddy Belt (or any other harness)?

Enjoy Your Day!
