If you make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation, please mention "lacrosse" in a note with
the donation. At my request, in memory of my wife
Brenda, the CBCF will then direct the funds to a
facility seeking a "cure", rather than a "control".

Last call for 2004 Major Playoff Pool Entries

by Paul Whiteside (Login thistlesforever)

Works the same way as the Jr.A Pool. Choose one player from each of the ten groups plus two free agents not on the player list. Most points wins. In the event of a tie, most goals wins. Next tie break is points per game average(least games played). Deadline for entries is Sunday July 25th at 11pm. Send picks to:

reverendche@yahoo.com

Please take care to not make any mistakes like players from wrong group or free agents on the list. I'll do my best to catch any mistakes, however final responsibilty falls on each participant.

Entries can be sent any time now. You get only one shot at it. Once your team is in you cannot make any changes.

The Major playoff format sees the top two teams getting a first round bye. Teams 3 to 6 pair off for the best of five Quarter Final. Semi Final and Final are best of seven series. Brampton, St.Catharines and Akwesasne will all have to play in Quarter Final. Brooklin, Peterborough and Six Nations still fighting for two byes.

If you can email your team using the following format it would save me a bit of work and be greatly appreciated:

Jim Bishop
Jack Bionda
Gaylord Powless
Paul Parnell
Bill Isaacs
Newsy Lalonde
Roy Morton
Gordon Gair
Rick Dudley
Tim Barrie
Curly Mason
Morley Kells
