Summary

A Sunday afternoon tilt that took about 3 hours to complete due to numerous stoppages in play in the second period. This game was definately more chippy that last night's game, including a game misconduct to Lightning Charlie Goodleaf for headbutting. Standout Lightning goalie Daylan Adams was retired from the game after two measurements against his equipment. Back up Angus Goodleaf was up to task and made several key stops and kept the Lightning in the game. The Gaels forced overtime with the lone marker in the third.

In OT, the Gaels carried the play in the early going and were rewarded with two crease goals on Goodleaf. Wes Oakes let go a blistering shot to bring the Lightning within one goal, but they couldn't breakdown the Gaels D, even with the man advantage for the last few minutes.
