If you make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation, please mention "lacrosse" in a note with
the donation. At my request, in memory of my wife

Notes:

The few penalties in this game were not by commission but rather by omission . Mainly players accidentally raising their sticks.

Spoke to John Conflitti after the game. He understood that it was going to be a tough haul this year. The team essentially had about three weeks to get ready for the season.
It was difficult to get players to commit on such short notice. He has invested a lot of time and money to keep the franchise afloat this year.

He and his team will be prepared much better next year and will definitely be competing next year. John Rosa is the interim general manager.

Four players who would have helped the team tonight were released to play Senior B and they were involved in the playoffs for their respective teams on this night. The four were Nick Trudeau, John Rosa, Francis Dostie, and Jeff Soulliere.

Spoke to Ginny Capicchioni and she is grateful to John Conflitti for giving her a chance to play this year. She still feels she has a shot at playing with a NLL team in the winter. Playing Major lacrosse and NLL expansion will enhance her chance of playing in the winter.

Brooklin’s tenth goal was recorded as being scored by Shawn Williams. In fact it was scored by Derek Suddons with an assist by Williams.

The second and third periods were run at straight time and the game was over in about and hour and half.

Thanks to Kevin for verifying the shots on goal.
