Response to carter afb chokes
I'm a guilty party, who has adapted to the pumping technique. I just read Charlie's comments, and I also share a fear of those old chokes closing up a bit during hot operation. I have mine wired wide open.

Charlie makes an interesting comment, about hooking them to a manual choke control. Your comments will make me look long and hard at those carbs, next trip to the engine room!
