CHRIS CRAFT COMMANDER FORUM ® .......A photo-intensive technical reference file and ongoing newsletter regarding the original fiberglass Chris Craft Commander. Our mission at this independent not-for-profit non-commercial web site is to "have fun and share information" for your individual personal use. Our main reference feature is the ever expanding MASTER INDEX Files which contain exhaustive photo and technical information on the Chris Craft Commander line (like these original brochure scans, featuring the iconic 38 Commander designed by Fred Hudson) , (an awesome collection of Chris Craft 427 tuning and specification information), and a few words about how to use the information in the forum, etc. Be sure to look at the information about the 2009 Lake Erie Chris Craft Commander / Roamer Rendezvous, second year in a row at Huron, Ohio, held in August of 2009 !! If you're a Commander fan, this will be an event you won't want to miss next time around.

We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !"

Response to Tim is right

I met Tim Toth about 8 years ago, he had this beautiful Chris Craft 35 Commaander and I was the new guy on the dock. The first year I didn't get to know Tim but I did get to meet his daughters, they are the nicest 3 girls you could ever meet. My wife and I did get to know Tim and his wife about 2 years later in 2002 when we came back to the marina after a couple years elsewhere. Tim was in the same spot he is still in to this day! He taught ne about Chris Crafts and I listened I found a 1974 Chris-Craft 35 Aft Cabin in the parking lot of the marina that summer and crawled all over it. I learned about the Chris's and vowed to find a steal on a 35 Aft Cabin some day. Fast forward about a year or two and I found my steal on one. We buy the boat and plan a trip and the rest of the story can be read at http://www.apyc.org/chriscraft

(hi Mark, I activated your link so other people can click on it in an active mode, Paul)
