Engine report / cylinder check

Captain,
Try inspecting each cylinder with a light probe . Any pistons with a hole in it or visual damage would be seen.
I assume the crankcase oil is ok, no water contamination ?
Do you feel comfortable doing a compression check ,engine cold, instead of warming up to normal temp ?
Will the engine start and idle?
