Getting nervous now it is getting close to that time. Been up late and want to make sure I am I thinking right. Found the marks on the flywheel last night, looking good there.
Installing the distributor.. Turn engine to compressive TDC #1 cyl. intall distributor with rotor pointing to or near #1 wire. Then turn engine approx. 45 degress this should be #8 firing (or compressive) position? Then I can begin setting my valves as per the CC book.
On start, if carb back fires. Release distributor, turn rotor one turn, start and then time the engine.
Sound right?
