We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common !
I don't think the closed cell poly will get waterlogged like some of the other foam will. They probably get kinf of a stressed skin panel actiion with the hollow tubes filled with it.
Congratulations on getting that much life out of your engines too, you obviously know how to care for them very well. Old well-built equipment like that can last a LONG time with the proper care. Many times an owner just leaves the oil in for three or four years, etc., etc.
Are you commercially fishing, chartering or just an avid recreational boater with your Commander? Any way you look at it, the value will shine through. Send photos if you have any.
