The more I learn, the more I find out what I missed when the 1960s breezed by me in a flash. I had no money at the time, but people who did obviously had a great choice in power, in cars or boats. People still have a choice, but finding a new one with zero hours is just about as costly now as it was back then, or more so. I am intrigued about the fact that you can buy new "everything" for these motors, including new blocks. I'm also intrigued that you can buy one with 900 horsepower, obviously not for boating use unless yu're in the offshore racing business. I would love to have a runabout with one of these motors.
