CHRIS CRAFT COMMANDER FORUM ® .......A photo-intensive technical reference file and ongoing newsletter regarding the original fiberglass Chris Craft Commander series. Our mission at this independent not-for-profit non-commercial web site is to "have fun and share information" for your individual personal use. Our main reference feature is the ever expanding MASTER INDEX Files which contain exhaustive photo and technical information on the Chris Craft Commander line (like these original brochure scans, featuring the iconic first 38 Commander styled by Fred Hudson, and many of the great Dick Avery renditions that followed) , (an awesome collection of Chris Craft 427 tuning and specification information), and a few words about how to use the forum, etc.

We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common !

LEGENDE, (our Mediterranean Commander Flagship) ----->>>VIDEO<<<-----

Sonia Oelgart (via email)  (no login)

Hello everyone, A while back Sonia sent this great video, and we were trying to figure out how to post it, and I think I've just figured out how to do it here on the forum. Check it out! Hopefully Sonia will give us some details as to what was happening here, becuase the weather looks pretty rough! Here's what a 41' Commander will do in rough water!

In case some of you may not know, the Oelgart's are German, living in Spain. If you listen carefully you can hear them speaking in the German language. I took German in highschool and college, but I never got far enough inthe language to understand any of the nautical terms! The video is great.

(Thanks Sonia!)

Paul
