One small correction in Paul's story - my 23' Commander was equipped with a 327F when built. The previous owner had a 350 long block installed about 10 years ago. The only engine change I have made is electronic ignition. Although it will irritate the big engine guys, my opinion is that there is no need for a larger engine (except maybe bragging rights at the saloon). This is easily the best boat I have ever driven or owned. Its best feature is also its worst feature - weight (4800 lbs). Ride and open water handling are wonderful, but crosswind docking can be very tricky. I will attach a few more images taken this summer.
