I don't understand why the transmission community didn't design a tranny that could spin the prop one way or the other 40 years ago. Instead, an entire industry of LH and RH motors was allowed to exist. What is odd, Chevrolet, Ford, and Chrysler all followed suit, I guess they liked the business. It is almost like they "created the need". Paragon could have stopped all this by just introducing a transmission that would turn the prop either way equally well. I think it would have been popular with the general public, but the motor manufacturers would have probably boycotted em. One has to wonder WHY it took so many years to develop this "technology". Had they done this years ago, none of us would even know what an opposite rotation camshaft was.
