Transitional model?

It is possible this is a photo of a transitional model, when the 23' Commander was phased out of the marketing scheme and it morphed into the Lancer v-drive model with a new badge.

We have a LOT of records on the various models that were built, but in the case of the open top 27, for instance, I have yet to see one of those appear in a brochure, or in the Essential Guide.

In any case, "whatever it is", it's an attractive boat, and regardless of what it is, it was built in the Cortland, New York Chris Craft Corsair Division's plant.
