We extend to you a cordial "WELCOME ABOARD !" Come on in, make yourself at home, we are a friendly group of enthusiasts, and we also appreciate the classic Chris Craft Roamer, Corsair, and Lancer boats too , as they are all on the same family tree and share much in common ! Just start by posting a note introducing yourself to the group, that's all it takes here (we don't ask for or retain any personal information here, because our intention is to just "have fun and share information".
It's going to be a cold weekend and a long weekend here in TN (we take off Presidents day because so many of our related businesses also do). I drove Janet's XC90 over to "Nashville Plywood" and picked up two sheeds of 1/2" and one sheet of 1/4" just to have enough around for miscellaneous projects, etc. I may recut the floor pieces since they'll be finished with vinyl. Now they're pretty beaten up. I'll be working on those seats too, and I'll post a few photos showing the work as it continues.
Right now I'm enjoying a cup of coffee, looking out the window at all 1/4" of show we got last night. It's just enough to make things white. It is, however, cccccold !
My goal is to have all the old seats stripped, and the new reconstructions done, so I can drop everything off at the upholsterer next week.
Now I'm beginning to really wonder why I don't have a 10,000 sf industrial building somewhere with boat storage, and a complete restoration shop! Sure would be fun!!
