Use the pointer and dimple at 500 rpm

Response to 350Q engine location
In the normal Chris Craft manner, if you have a pointer and a dimple in the flywheel, then you should time the boat so the pointer is right on the dimple at 500 rpm in gear. This has been done at the dock, tied securely while running in gear, bue it is more safely done with someone driving for you, and the mechanic able to focus on the timing stuff.
