Of course, Tom. When we knew Dale was going to be there, I made a point to look him up. The photo is proof. At the moment I took this photo, they did not know who I was. I just walked up, started focusing and Mrs. Kocian saw me first and tapped Dale on the arm. As they turned to me I said, "come on, let's see some teeth" and they smiled. That's when I stuck my hand out and introduced myself and said hello.
Dale said he found a brass bezel for me at the show and my instruments would soon be done. It's odd, but on my vintage Skiff, one dial was brass rimmed with chrome, and the other was steel rimmed with chrome. They look the same, but they darn sure don't finish out the same if the steel is rusted, which it was. I didn't notice it, honestly, but Dale said he wasn't letting it out of his shop until it met his standard, and I told him I appreciated that and would wait until he was happy with it.
