I recently purchased a 1973 Sports Sedan with two 350Q engines. As it turns out, one of the intake manifolds is cracked beyond repair, and I need to replace it. I know that these engines are pretty much your typical small block Chevy, so my question is, does anyone know of a new (possibly Aluminum) replacement intake manifold, such as you could get at an ordinary auto parts store? It seems like it could be a pretty standard part, although the guy at the welding place told me that most Chevy intake manifolds of that type have the air intake connection on the other end. The actual Chris Craft intake manifold is, of course, ridiculously expensive and hard to find!
Any help would be appreciated! This boat is turning out to be an adventure, lol.
