| Assuming the boat is a 12,000 pound object, with a pair of 230-hp motors, total 460-hp, with a resulting 437 shaft horsepower, that boat should do every bit of 30-mph. In fact, the calculations suggest it could do 32.44 mph.
I admittedly used the 2.5:1 gear reduction. I noted Bill just said 2.0:1 so I'll factor that in too. Gimme a minute to burn up the calculator.
