Response to A little difficult to get excited about a prop shaft, but look at these photos !
I don't know what kind of camera you use, but you produce some great close up photos. Looking at the CNC machined shaft you just obtained, it is very unusual to see a keyway like that which does not also cut through the threads. Only a CNC device can do somethng without running the cost way up. Very unusual! Thanks for the tip, and for the photos.
