| A piece of 5/16" pushrod tube can be used to make a liner for that oil passage. It is likely that the block rusted thru from the water passage to the oil passage.
He needs to be careful not to damage the cam bearing when installing the tube. It would have been best to install the tube before the cam bearing. He may have ruined the cam bearings anyway if water has been circulating with oil.
